Welcome to the International Institute of California (IIC). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or submitting a credential evaluation request, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. Effective July 23, 2026.

- Summary Evaluations
- Course-by-Course Evaluations
- Course-by-Course Evaluations with clinical analysis when requested
Our advisory evaluations represent our best professional judgment based on the available documentation and current U.S. academic standards.
02Eligibility
To access our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Submit complete and accurate documentation
- Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
Minors must have evaluations submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
03Application Process
All evaluations require:
- A completed application form, online or PDF
- Legible copies of academic documents, including transcripts, diplomas, and translations
- Payment in full before evaluation work begins
After receiving the application, IIC will provide the applicable total and payment instructions. Delays may occur if documents are incomplete, unclear, or not translated into English.
04Fees, Payments, and Refunds
All fees are listed on our website and must be paid in full before evaluation work begins.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment in U.S. dollars by money order, check, cash, or Zelle. After reviewing your application, IIC will provide the applicable total and payment instructions. Evaluation work begins after all required documents and full payment are received.
Refund Policy
If you cancel before IIC begins evaluation work, IIC will refund the amount paid, less a $35 administrative fee.
Evaluation work begins after IIC has received all required documents and payment and the application enters review. Once evaluation work begins, evaluation and rush-processing fees are non-refundable.
Overpayments will be refunded to the original payment method whenever possible, or credited toward another IIC service at the applicant's written request. If IIC cannot provide the requested service, fees for work not performed will be refunded.
Delays caused by missing documents, institutions, verification requests, or circumstances outside IIC's control do not qualify for a refund.
If IIC misses a paid rush deadline for reasons within IIC's control, IIC will refund the rush-processing surcharge.
05Delivery Times
Standard processing takes 21 business days after all required documents are received and payment is confirmed. Rush services may be available for an additional fee. Timelines may vary with document complexity and circumstances outside IIC's control. The refund terms above explain how delays and missed paid rush deadlines are handled.
06Use of Evaluations
Our evaluations are intended for U.S. college or university applications, employment verification, U.S. immigration and visa purposes, and professional licensure.
IIC is not responsible for how a third party—including a school, employer, licensing body, or government agency—uses or interprets an evaluation. Acceptance is not guaranteed.
